FOR THE LOVE OF CINEMA
Well, here we are. Tumblr. The hot spot for sporting your opinion on whatever strikes your fancy. For me, it’ll be films. Always— well, hopefully. I’m not one for advocating political propositions or crying about the slow extinction of dolphins ( unless, of course, we’re talking about The Cove ). I just want to talk about movies. Plain and simple. The art of cinema has had a profound effect on my life. Who’d have thought a strip of 35mm film could metaphorically materialize into a third parent (or at least the cool aunt)?
